Pam project 351 back to life

Got this battled beaten 351 KW and the movement needed attention because it kept stopping every 45 seconds or so but the guy who sold it to me gave me a bar of chocolate so to give me a boast on getting it sorted

Now after some TLC and elbow grease

Great work, what did you use to get the scratches out? one of my favourite watches, first rep in fact.

Such a detailed restoration job @elloello. Thanks for sharing. I'm also interested in your method of removing the scratches off the titanium case. There are many titanium PAMs maybe they can help others remove light scratches as well.

This is the stuff I used


I was very gentle when using

1. For brushing the red pad & pen tool
2. Polish parts cotton pads for a powered rotary tool and polish and soft cloth
3. For masking areas insulation tape because I had some going spare
4. Cleaning residue was another cloth

it's the first 2555 I've had so I don't know too much about these movement "Edit" the movement still does stop I tried but failed oh well it looks like it needs more attention,

Awesome work mate. I need to do the same work on my 328. May i ask where you bought the material to do the job? Will they work on SS?
