PAM Pre-V 201/a photoshoot :)

Hi guys,

Yesterday I received Rolli's latest dialset; the one that has probably been anticipated the most; his Pre-V series and in this case the 201/a and it is made with the same remarkable craftmanship as his previous dials!

I can't think of any aspect that could have been improved; it's just spectacular! (and it also glows like a torch )

These last parts complete a build made out of the following parts:

Rolli/FGD Pre-V 201/a dialset
Gen swiss movement
Dirk Pre-V style strap
C3 Crystal
David Wong Caseback

A couple of important notes to consider about this dial. It is not a Chinese replica dial. It is made in the same dial shops that make parts for other Swiss makers. It's lumed with authentic RC Tritec lume (I've done a time elapsed test against gen lume and the Rolli dials match in duration of glow power). The quality and finish is every bit as good as gen. The lacquer fill on the numbers and indices is the same used on the gen Pre-V dials; UV 820, a natural resin lacquer that will dull and age over time, just like the gen dials. Finally, this is the most accurate Pre-V dial ever made and the first one to combine accurate number shape with accurate serif font.

If you have the budget, don't hesitate. They will soon be gone and rarely seen again.

I have a 201 with Southy dial, and I still need to be convinced this is worth the upgrade.

While I don't agree with backdoor sales, it's sad to see a member banned from these forums that has offered us so much. Rolli and FGD (aka GPFModDep) are legends of this hobby, for sure. If FGD is still around, thanks for your contributions! We'd like to see more of your presence here!

Doesnt seem seem to hard to get banned here, wow. Your version of backdoor sales is likely people seeking out Rolf not him pm'ing people to sell. I don't think he's to worried about selling every dial made. And he most certainly doesn't have to contact sellers to buy one. They sell themselves.

Completely ridiculous considering the contributions to your forum, and the only ones who will suffer are your Members not Rolf. Believe me. I doubt he's losing to much sleep over it.

Who bans someone that's arguably changed the game, single handedly, with his dials. And there are more to come. Poor move on your part IMO.

While I'm really really sad to see rolli banned, and I can personally attest he's a true addicted and an extraordinary person that is giving so much to us PAM fans, rules are rules and are to be respected, no one should be above them.
I recall he had been warned, and if he did try to sell backdoor then unfortunately there's no one to blame but him.
I do hope that something could be done about it, but the admin staff has all my support with its decisions whatever they are.

About the contributions to our forum... If you know of another forum where there is so much information and open discussion on every single PAM that is repped, please let us know where it is.

First of do you really think owners/staff take bans lightly? That we sometimes don't discuss?

Well, in this case discussion was short and unanimous.

Basically owners/staff don't like three things.

Wrong attitude
Misrespected rules
Disrespect of owners/staff

Is this Rolli guy guilty? Yes, on all accounts and that for more than a few weeks back.

Sit back and think about that. There is so much more behind the scenes and between the lines you are not aware of.
