This is a fairly simple design. The lead even more so.

I personally don't like. It looks like you glued a PAM to a drink coaster.

Fantastic idea. I would turn the watch over so that when you hold it in your hand with the swivel pointing down, the watch is rightside up.

This guy has Patent pending all over his website so people won't copy.... Then the idiot goes and uses the Panerai Logo on it... So you don't want people to copy your design, but you infringe on their trademark?

Even if he has patent pending all you need is a slight change in aesthetic design and hey presto no infringement. Also there would be no copyright infringement as you can't copyright a design, only trademark it.

He sounds like a silly bugger if he put op logo on it without express permission from richemont group. He could face a heavy lawsuit for using it lol like we give a crap about that anyway.

Rotate the whole thing 90°, then rotate the dial 90° so 12 is at the crown. Crown up, lugs left and right, cut the holder to mimic the shape and done!
