Hi Everyone,

I missed out on a beautiful 202A and I would like to try to assemble parts to build one.

I keep seeing "FGD dials" and "FGD hands" in a lot of the ads. Who is FGD? Is he a member or a TD?

What kind of case and caseback should I get for a 202A? Also what is a Mat C3 crystal?

Hope you guys can help me out.

But the one I had wanted had a more orangish faded lume and a darker but vintaged PVD/DLC finish. I have done some reading and I found out the the gens have the lume that faded into the orangish color because Panerai used the wrong or a defective lume and that's the reason the dial and the hans match.

Thanks again...but unless one comes up for sale that i won't have to mod anymore, I would much prefer to try and assemble the parts and have it put together. With the right strap, the 202A looks so stunning and I will probably make it as a keeper.

If not Your only choice is used dials in the sales sections.

Member Big Crown and Mattusss made a perfect 1:1 swiss corondum crystl.
All sold out and can only be found used.

As for CB, the best one is made by member Jacob. I think he is most active over at RWG.
