How is it unreliable? Just curious a bit. I own this same VSF pam for about 3-months now. Sorry that I do not know where to get a replacement movement. I am happy with the bronzo movement I have.
Extra info since I like Pams and have the same watch...thought I would share.
I have since purchased a Pam1507 Luna Rossa GMT Titanio and won a Pam 1412 (quiet/ keeps very accurate) in last month's raffle. All are pretty accurate. The 1507 is titanium and looks great but super loud. I have also noticed (90% sure) that the crown gasket is missing on the 1507. The lever does not push crown in much at all. I will post my work when open the case back and try to make it more silent and change the crown gasket. Then I will get it pressure tested.
My bronzo has been on waterpark slides and in the ocean (after passing a dry pressure test). And smelled like seaweed for a day too thanks to the bronze. Also, the bezel got stuck after swimming in the ocean. Used dental floss in the gap and cleaned/flossed out some instant patina under the bezel that locked it in place. That ocean patina came off instantly with a brush and dish soap. And it is not the good kind of corrosion either. Prior to that I bathed it twice in baking soda to get that new shine. Not sure if I will continue doing that.
Good luck and hope any extra words here helped. I love the watch. It's seen the most wrist time.
