PAM Models and Case Finish

I am just curious to hear from those who have different PAM models - is there a preferred case finish for a watch that will be worn routinely in rotation? I know this is obviously a very personal preference, but I find myself wavering between different model on the various TD sites and these boards, and sometimes I like the polished finish, on others I like the brushed. Then toss in the titanium versions and I am worse than a politician in changing my mind. Are the polished cases reasonably easy to polish out light scratches?

These are not meant to be museum pieces. To your point, titanium scratches easier than the others, but I have 3 and they all look fine after at least a year and at most 5 years and counting.

Go with the piece that you'd most like to see on your wrist everyday and you'll have your answer. The first scratch will tick you off, but the rest are just patina.

These are $200-300 watches, buy one each really, it's not that you are paying 5K for them

If you are worried about scratches Titanium should be avoided because is really prone to scratches

Regarding polished or brushed S.Steel, polished is more prone to scratches but very easy to get repaired by polishing. brushed hides better the scratches and is less easy to get repaired (but it is possible)

My advice: buy a polished like PAM 359 or PAM 111 and another brushed like PAM 127, 312....

Appreciate each of your input - it reinforces my initial instinct to do both . I was shying away from the titanium anyways since I prefer the brighter stainless metal color (I have a titanium Breathing and once several of you mentioned it, it does seem to scratch easier), so I am down to the 127 and in addition to those mentioned by ALE (thank you..), will also compare the 320 and 510). Leaning towards the KW manufacturer where I can find them.

Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Anything too polished also doesn't look good in my opinion. Depends on the watch though - tool watches and divers are meant to be worn =)

My experience is that the highly polished cases aren't polished to gen spec and it's easy to see that in the daylight

If you have access to a competent (and rep-friendly) watchmaker, you can improve on that shine.
