PAM mod questions

Hey,
I'm still new to all this. After spending a bunch of time reading through most of the forum posts, I've decided that in the next week or two I plan to order a PAM 111 N V3. I always notice that people talk of modding their PAMs and I was wondering is it really necessary? And if not, what are mods that I should consider after getting the watch? I've already ordered new watch bands as I have a PAM clone watch with similar specs to a PAM (Marina Militare 44mm watch with 24mm strap) and decided it was time to grab a new band (elephant band and an alcantara band).

Thanks for any input...

No, no modding needed really. The uber OCD members might get marlin to do some very minor movement mods on the open caseback models but personally there are bigger issues to the rep movements than brushing wheels and doing incabloc mods.

I personally agree with Bonesey. I don't mod my PAMs
I think that an expert who can spot a fake can spot the same with all mods. There will be anyway a percentage of people who will be fooled by some good mods.
But this is a taste matter. Up to you
For modders contact marlin, goin, Wiz and ask them for advice

Thanks for all the info. I'll probably be ordering the 111 n v3 in two weeks and just swap out the rubber strap for a different one for the time being. I can't wait to have this baby on my wrist. Now to choose a TD...
