Pam mark, do you have it?

Apart from the nice tan line most of the watch wearers get, I noticed PAMs have their unique signature, a patch of hardened skin where the crown guard rubs against the skin. The vibrations from the bike might have made it more noticeable for me but this is no temporary blister or irritation, it's a rough patch of skin there to stay. So do you bear the Mark of PAM?
PS: no cack ring marks please.

Im with you smokie, and have wondered many times myself whether anyone else had it or just me. Its that hardened spot right at the base of the wrist that is constantly hit by the cg

Depending on which PAM model and which wrist you wear it on!
Mine would be almost on my left hand.

Firm believer that a right handed person must wear their watch on their left hand at all times. Also due to the size of PAM Cases, I can never wear a bracelet along with the watch (Seen it done a few times and looks great though)

With three pams that i wear at least 4 times a week, my pam spot is permanently there on the top of my left wrist. After a while of wearing a pam you dont feel it as much, but if you go 2-3 days with another watch and then switch back to a pam, you will feel the spot or rather the cg hitting the spot right away

Your watch should be worn just past the little bone in your wrist. Wearing it there means it is past the point where bending your wrist makes your hand come in contact with the crown. Those people who wear watches like loose bracelets annoy me. Also wearing it so far down your wrist it is marking your skin is also a bit daft if you ask me.

I would have to wear my watch super tight if it was to sit beyond the little round wrist bone and stay there, so that's not gonna happen! If I wear my 111 for a while I do get the chafing from the crown guard though

Depends on your wrist shape, I have a skinny wrist with muscular forearms so it tapers quite a lot. For me to be able to take it over that bone it has to be fairly loose at the base and every time I move the hand and the muscle contracts it gets really tight. I've tried it and it's fine if I would stand still, but I am fairly active and also European so I gesticulate a lot, it's a no go. Also there's no way you can keep a watch over that bone when riding a bike.

I actually had a big mark all the time with my Tag day/date and thought the PAMs would be even worse but it just sits differently on my wrist. No real mark. Surprising.

I had my dermatologist put a skin graft from an elephant where the CG had rubbed a hole in my lower hand to the bone. Highly recommend this surgical procedure to all 47mm PAM lovers. Angus, Josh and Andrew will pay half the cost for it if your insurance does not cover it.

I looked down today and realized that I too have the Pam mark. I guess I'm daft ;)
