PAM looks awful

PAM looks awful, seriously. The simple, VERY simple dial face and case, plus a BIG crown guard, all for what? 300 bucks?! I rather get an UPO for that money............ or that was what I thought..:lolcina:

While I was sitting idling in the train yesterday, I saw this guy with one on his wrist, standing right in front of me.. a PAM 111. My first thought was "Shyt!! This thing looks nice!!"
I do not know if that was a gen, nor do I love PAM enough to study about it. Due to the first rule we have, I didn't ask him.
I never stared so much at a guy (wrist) before, not like she's a chick with nice tits or some short skirts.....

So now I think I had fallen to the even darker side of the rep game.. the PAM... Now just tell me, is this the best PAM111?

Haha, sounded like me a while ago ;)

If you ask me, noob or H factory 111 versions are AMAZING only the truly obsessed pam junkies can pick out the "flaws" I have a hard time noticed them side by side so not much to argue.

But I would consider order it on rubber and get a proper strap for it from any of our strap guys and pretty sure in your area you could find one at a very good price, the rep straps sucks pretty much. http://www.puretimewatch.com/produc...nt-ar-best-edition-on-black-oem-rubber-strap/

My calfskin leather strap were really flimsy and looked incredibly cheap, nice in picture but real life epic fail, so get it on rubber and a nice after market one, I like paneray´s (located in Shanghai) straps nice price awesome quality and service. :)

http://www.paneray.com/paneray/main.html

Soon you will "need" a 005 or 318, 176/177 in Ti is rather nice too, then you might want puretime´s brandspankingnew 127 that at least I think is a gorgeous best!!!
It´s rather big but I just need it in my watchbox to look at and polish ;)....

Cheers,
J

The 127..47mm! I only got a 6.5" wrist, thats a challenge.

What size strap for the PAM111?

Yes the 111M is that good. It took me years to come round on PAMs and after some due diligence I chose to buy a 111M. Wow was I impressed and finally understood what the buzz was about. Enjoy it mate and wear it well.

But honestly, i had the same experience as you. Firstly i couldn't understand the like for PAMs but now i couldn't live without them.

But be careful. soon you'll need a titanium one, a lefty and of course a pvd.

.... and then you get started on vintage... :lolcina:

Bahaha, I used to have the same thoughts and the same thing happened. Spotted a 111 in the wild and thought "thats not as big and plain as i thought". month later i had my 177 homage

+1 to the comment above on straps - order it on rubber, get a good custom leather made to your taste afterwards.

Straps are 24/24 on the tang buckle, 24/22 on a deployant (wth deployant strap, obviously!)

Noob and H Factory are both good, but I prefer my Noob over my H-Factory.

Thanks to the recommendation! Got it on the rubber, and looking for aftermarket straps now :)

Any SG shop selling straps with good value? Im afraid a 5mm is too thick for a 6.5" wrist. Looking for something that wear small

Get the Noob on rubber. For $10.00 extra Angus will make it a deployant clasp, which I like better. Ask for QC pics to include lume shots, as I have seen some recent complaints about the lume on the hands of recent purchases.

I am very happy with my Noob 111 from Angus/Puretime.

Hi shiro
The N version is the same with a N (of 2011) in the caseback instead a M (of 2010) no changes ... LOL

I know! I meant the Noob version :lolcina:
And yeah, i got the QC today and its written N instead of M, its quite fun that it matches the "noob" name.
