I just got a Fiddy, and not gonna lie, it is just too big for my 7" wrist. Also, you have to keep in mind, I work in a business setting and want to be able to wear it there as well (I know Pam's are dressy per se, but they can look good -- see 2007 Men's health style guide cover - ryan reynolds). Back on topic, I think you just need to wear what makes you comfortable. Some members on the board have 6.5" wrists and wear Fiddy's all the time (not going to name any names ).. Anyway, if you go by "looks" alone, just make sure the band is jutting outward on the wrist, and not perpendicular or even back end.
Also, different watches fit totally different. My 42.5 PO is about as big as i'd go because the case is large, but I wear a 45 radiomir just fine... so after all my babbling, you can see, there really is no answer....

It's funny cuz my wrist is actually smaller than yours ^^ and getting a Fiddy soon hopefully
I like huge watches... and I also work in a business setting. When I wore my B&R at the office
co-workers and my managers just laughed at me, which is actually not a bad thing. It's kinda good to be a unique character at work... it's a conversation starter.
