Curious myself. Looking at one with an ETA 2893-2 which is posted as the gen movement. I wonder if it is worth $500?? I'd love to hear some feedback on this piece.
I have an 029 from puretime with the 2893. I think it's worth the money. I've had an explorer 2 with the 2836 modified gmt movement. The 2893 is a much better movement. The gmt hand syncs properly with the hour hand. It sweeps smoothly and keeps great time. The main flaw on the gmt pam's is that the date font isn't bold like on the gen, and the magnification is weak.
