PAM Ferrari Chrono Pic review (yellow)

Posted this on the other forum, but wanted to share it here as well:

Hi, just picked this up. Had some problems with the top lug screw but managed to get it sorted (despite King refusing to help me with it and accusing me of damaging the watch). Anyway, its a great rep and the quality overall is outstanding, easily among the top 5 reps I own. The strap is very good quality, best I've seen on a rep yet. I changed the stitching to yellow since I think it looks much sharper like that compared to the stock white stitching. Enough talking, here's some pics:

I don't know if you have any Pam, if you do can you tell us how is the Ferrari feel like compare to the normal Panerai?

I've got a davidsen 111H, 127, and 183, and this is equal to them. I've also got a 194 and a 024 and it's superior to those 2.

It's an asian 7750, as are all the new yellow Ferrari reps.

I've got a davidsen 111H, 127, and 183, and this is equal to them. I've also got a 194 and a 024 and it's superior to those 2.

I don't have any Pam but this is great to know the Ferrari carry the Panerai's heritage.

the only problem i have with the non chrono versions of the watch is the number '8' bothers me....the corner
of the '8' should be chopped off like the gen...i think the chrono version is more accurate

Excellent observation. that was the same concern I brought up when these first came. I have to revisit the AD to verify that, however, based on pictures its not accurate. Need to check on the date font too. The chono is the one I want.

White was only for the catalog shots.
Yellow is the real color of production watches.

It is awesome, BUT I'm dissapointed! I saw YELLOW in the topic and thought this might be the yellow face with black sub-dials, now thats a looker! :shock:
