DLC coating is neither Composite nor ceramic. It is just applied to get appearance of Composite or ceramic
A good DLC, with a sandblasted or beadblasted previous treatment of the surface, is very similar to a ceramic or a Composite, leaving aside the weight.
A good DLC is very hard, more than SS, and will last a lot of time. Just be careful it is very hard but thin and fragile. Anyway can bear some hits without problems
Therefore no worries about quality and duration, it is more an accuracy matter.
