Pam dial on ebay, anyone knows if it is any good?

The "L SWILL L" looks good to me, but since i know little or nothing I'll let you decide if it is any good. The price is not right, I know that, it's the quality that I'm wondering about..

I have no idea as to the quality, but I do know that it is a complete fantasy dial.

It's almost certainly the same dial that came in the fantasy 036s that had black dials instead of brown. I think babola had/has one of those from Joshua from way back when.

I would assume it has typical rep lume, etc.

These dials are fantasy. if you're going for some sort of a homage watch or a just a fantasy pam, they're good to use, but for accuracy purpose, such dials were never made for gen. They should be tobacco and "T" dial, not luminova.

I know there are people claiming there was L dial for 036, but... I don't think so ^^ never in production anyway

Can you propose a dial that might fit the watch I purchased, and where to get it? I want a black dial, like the 177H, sandwich type.

Yeah, it's fantasy dial allright. And with "radioactive green lume" to scare off potential predators from mile away :lol:

As others have already suggested - steer away from it, especially at that price.

@Hooligan, that must have been my 177 sausage dial 177G I sold some time ago, never had black dial 036 :wink: I believe it was Tutima or Takashi.

@Peter, Angus will set you right mate, he's one of the few dealers that could source 177 sandwich dial for you as a spare part. Drop him a PM if you haven't already.

Yes, i did already contact angus regarding the dial, he asked 25usd for it which I find very reasonable. Does any of you have any pictures of the dials he sell, and how does it compare to davidsen's?

I don't have any pics of that dial, sorry. Compared to DSN's? The "standard" rep dial you'll get from Angus will likely have *slightly* more accurate font and much worse lume. That can be fixed by a quick trip to one of our modders, though.

Thanks hooigan! I have also heard that davidsen dials are slightly bigger, so they won't fit any other rep case, only DSN.

I think i might go with the dial from Angus, he sent me a picture today posted beneath.

I have 2g Noctilumina G8UF and 2g Noctilumina B8UF, which one has the correct color? One is blueish and the other greenish. I don't have any thinner or binder (or whatever you might need to mix the lume with), so if anyone has any tips on what to use and where to get it, it would be very much appreciated.

The last I knew, DSN was using a mix of his older, larger cases and some "standard" rep cases. The case my 010D came with is a standard rep case. So, depending on which dial you get, it might be bigger or it might not.

I'm afraid I'm no help on the lume questions, though.
