PAM crown winds / snaps back after winding

Hey,

I just received the PAM005 N-V2 and overall I am really impressed with its general build quality, but I am a little bit confused when I actually start to wind the watch.

After releasing the lever and winding the watch clockwise the crown always moves backwards / counter-clockwise for about a 90 degrees. Is this behavior usual regarding this PAM or manual movements in general?

Otherwise it might be a good idea to get it serviced as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance!

Ya I think this is normal, it happens with my pam111.

I notice it more when it gets near a full wind, ie when the tension increases.

It is normal
That happens until the antireturn device engages

The further the distance the click travels from the click wheel the more rebound you will have when the crown is released.

you only start to worry when it does not return cos you will not be able to pull out the crown then to do adjustment of time ...
when the return is correct, this ensure the stem is "align" with the winding pinion so you can adjust time by pulling the crown outwards ...
just my 1/2 cents.
