Looks like the screw that is used to keep the stem in the keyless might be loose. Let me see if I can find an image to show you what to do.

Totally forgot to ask which watch this is... does it have an a6497 or an a7750?

Okay, so the movement will be the 6479.

If you're up to do this... open the caseback...

You'll see this:

IF YOUR CROWN CAN SLIDE INTO YOUR MOVEMENT RIGHT NOW>>> DO NOT UNSCREW THe SCREW FURthER>>>> SKIP STEP 2

I have circled the screw in red.
What this screw normally does it it essentially locks the crown in the keyless works so that you can wind in first position and time set in second.

What has most likely happened in your situation is that this screw has gotten loose.

So.. since you have already pulled out the crown.. Follow these directions...

1. Get a screwdriver that will fit into the screw. This could involve grinding down a regular precision screwdriver so it is sharp enough to fit in the screw. You can also use an exacto knife, but be very careful.

2. Turn the screw COUNTERCLOCKWISE only about 1/4 a turn and attempt to put the crown/stem back in. If it does not slide in... turn in additional 1/8th turns.. until it goes in. DO NOT OVERTURN. if you overturn.. you're fu*ked. (normally from a fully tight screw, 2 full rotations of unscrewing, will result in sh*t hitting the ceiling. its very scraight forward if you just be careful not to overturn)

3. Once your stem is in your watch, screw that screw back in CLOCKWISE until it is tight.

4. Wha-la. Eazy peazy.

Well.... if this happens with a 7750 movement... then you're in deeper water. The 7750 mvmt does not have a screw... it has a spring loaded pusher (in the same general vicinity. If your pusher gets stuck, allowing you to remove your crown unintentionally, you'll have 2 options to try and get it unstuck (these options depend on how it got stuck in the first place...)

If you pulled your crown out by depressing the button in the (hand setting or date setting position), you're going to need to fiddle with the keyworks. Although I've had alot of luck, as well as some other members such as strodda, by being very careful and kind of 'knocking' the watch around gently. If you're lucky, the keyworks isnt completely f*ck'd and will bang back

If this does not work, you'll have to reset the keyless works... and this is a huge, huge, huge pain in the ass, especially if you have not done it before... and also depending on whether it is the chrono 7750 or the base 7750, it can add even more complications.
