Those look really good. I haven't tried one, but the specs listed sound good and the pictures look nice. They appear to be spring loaded like gen crowns are supposed to be.....

Interesting.

Do you guys really think they are gens? As Hooligan said, they look great in those pics, it be nice to see someone who has purchased one and compare it to a Palp's.

Although the price is quite steep.

Cheers!

I just see the other he sell;

and look the PVD one, the PVD look too bad and grey for real PVD .
and this seller sell it for some time;
i will be very surprise to know it real :shock:

Turbogt, I don't think they are real. I was just curious is someone has bought and installed it. The seals and the tube look pretty impressive. I was hoping someone could share their experience and whether or not it they thought was worth it. It would help me make a decision between Palp and the one we are discussing.

They are genuine. They are NOS dating back to 1999-2001. They match up 100% to schematics from PAM at that time. Even the fact they are 3 gasket versus the 2 gasket approach from the D's onward. Perhaps this will give you some sense:

$100. Come on guys. I like nice stuff too. We can't spend $100 for a crown for a fake watch. We all need to get it together. :)

Well, I won't ask how you feel about $200 for a Jimmy CG? :D But in truth the SS and PVD are all .9 so they are usable only on automatics unless you have a very skilled watchsmith. The titaniums are all 1.2 so they are usable on the handwinds. By the way are you sure both those watches above are "fake"? :wink:
