Hi,

My new pam exhibited crown pop, and I don't know how to put it back in. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

It's there. Crown is totally loose, and falls out when I remove the guard.

You have to remove the back, replace the stem and tighten the screw that holds it in.

Ah different movement. The stem release is the little button just to the right of the stem below that gear. If the stem wont lock into position you probably will need some to fix it for you.

Of course I am asuming the whole stem came out.

oh the crown broke from the stem inside the movement. That will probably require a new stem and crown.

There is a small spring insided that small tube on the wheel. I did not apply any force at all, I don't understand how it could break. Are these watches really such a crap? This one is from NOOB supposedly.

Watch now completely died on me. Now the hands stopped moving, while the second hand is still running. Nice craftsmanship. I guess you get exactly what you pay for, and we all know how much we pay. I have sub 100$ watches from priceangels that still run like a charm though.

The hands stopped moving because the power reserve ran out and you can't charge it using the crown. Looks like the crown unscrewed from the stem. It should be an easy fix.

Shit things like this do happen once in a while from all dealers, just take it as part of the hobby imo. Let your dealer know and see what can he offer you.

Second hand is moving, but hour and minute hands are not any more - I can still power it up by shaking the rotor. Both hands stopped at 11:00.

It's not broken, happened to me before. If you look closely at the crown it looks like the crown is actually a kind of "snap-on" to the stem.It will eventually loose and fall off when you adjust time.

To fix it just put a tiny drop of superglue to the crown and then put it back and lock it with the crown guard, leave it 5 mins to harden and voila, fixed.

I'm not a watchsmith, or whatever...but I did fix a crown and stem that came apart on my ancient Seiko diver.
Grab the stem that is still in the movement with some needle-nose pliers and pull it out of the movement while at the same time pushing in on the little button release talked about earlier. You should then be able to reattach the stem to the crown by pushing it into the crown against the little spring you saw in there. I really dont think anything is broken....yet. :)
