Hi, I have spent hours reading through Ale’s reference guide, and am now seeking some guidance of the super rep models that I should specifically look for that pair well with dress shirts and suits. I would appreciate input and pictures if possible from Panerai connoisseurs. Some items of preference to me are a) quick release strap b) models with the date cyclop and above all I am interested in no limited edition watches as I do like to buy the genuine watch of the same model after time.

Your input will help me get into this fantastic brand so thanks in advance for your input and time.

Good question. I was going to suggest a pam088, but it doesn't have a quick strap release.

Thanks. I will check out the pictures of the model you have recommended. I will sacrifice on the quick release for a proper formal Panerai. Cheers

Really like the pam088 and alos like the fact that it is a GMT. Will look for other recommendations prior to commencing the search.

I personally think radiomirs look better as a formal dress watch, so I'd go with the 346, radiomir case, date cyclop, no idea about the strap though.

If you like the 88, may I recommend the 89 instead?

Currently only Radiomirs would fit under the cuff but maybe one of the newer rep PAMs based on the P.9010 movement which are supposedly thinner by 3mm will do the job. No date cyclops though.
