Hey guys, anyone ordered online for a classic pam ss bracelet? How does it fit? I have a ss bracelet from a different pam (171 that had a pusher on side which i'm replacing), and moved the ss bracelet to a pam 005. But there appears to be a gap where the strap meets the side of the caseset.

Any suggestions? The bracelet is not a one piece per link, but rather a 3 piece per link with 2 screws at the bottom.

After a few hours figuring it out and a few times drilling the screwdriver to my thumb and index finger, I think I was able to fix it. I bent the tabs at the bottom of the bracelet upwards. This made bracelet sit a bit lower thus cloaing the gap. It did make screwing back the lug pins a lot more difficult. At one point the screw driver went straight to my thumb lol.... No pain no gain i guess lol.

Pics below, let me know what you think. Bracelet sits flush now. Way better than before.

The lengths to which we'll go through just to improve our reps. Hahaha I have the same issue with my old style bracelet, but it looks nice on PAMs that usually don't come with it like this one. :)

Yours doesn't look bad at all. Mine initially had a very big gap like you can insert a dime in the gap lol

What, you don't use coins anymore there? We still have prices that are decimal so coins are still relevant. Hahaha

I'm just laughing at this because I feel I be doing the same treatment, I just got my first Pam and it's a bracelet version, I'm hoping no plasters are needed for me he!he!

It looks a lot worse on the bracelet because it's a link too tight so really pushing the bracelet but I have a few more links coming the seller forgot to add them originally

If it has the taps underneath you cam bend them. Makes fitting the lug bar a lot more difficult, but the gap disappears almost

I slept on this and being observing this closely this morning before I do anything , my actual plan is to use a nylon hammer with some plastic to tap them tabs , saves a lot of hassle & worry about pliers

I think more later today before I go in the deep end, sometimes the best ideas are when you think before rushing into it , now I do sound like a old man :hehehe::sFun_oldguy:

You can try using your thumbs to bend the tabs and you can even do so while the bracelet is on the watch. I've done this with several bracelets and did not end up with any wholes in any of my fingers -- however a well placed smack with a plastic hammer onto a taped tab works really well, even if it is almost impossible to replicate (you'd have to deliver an equivalent blow four times and I've never managed the feat).

Where did you get the bracelet?

1st attempt come out ok definitely in the right direction, this seems a lot easier then FM bracelets, I wait till I get my extra links I finish the job off , nylon hammer is the way no marks left :)

Great effort, can you take a photo of the underside of the bracelet? :)

Did you bend the tabs towards the case or away from it?
