Hi all,

First time posting in the PAM section.. Whilst i like the watches, they are far too big for my wrists, however, they will be fine for my brother, who I'm looking to buy for.

I've been reading through posts in the PAM section, back past page 43, as the search wouldnt allow me to use 250, etc. I was concenred about going too far past 2010 as I appreciate reps are advancing.

It's definitely a chrono style he would prefer and the 250 would be ideal, from what I can work out in model numbers.

I'm struggling to work out the differences between the chrono models (a few of them above) and with very few posts that i've found, I havent seen too much adverse info or warnings about the 7753 movement in these watches.

In addition, do these come both hand wind and auto, if so, is there one that is more reliable.

As an ex daytona buyer, pre RWI, i would like to ensure i'm not buying him a disaster waiting to happen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm from the UK and have dealt with Reg a few times for cheapies for my girlfriend, but happy if there are any thoughts on options for a UK purchase and any specifics I should be asking from our TD's.

Many thanks in advance,
Alex

PAM Chrono 44mm model images

No replies yet, so I thought I'd post what I have found out so far, it may help other new members regarding PAM Chronos.

I have only looked at 44mm, as research shows that different size and special Chrono's were also made.

I can't vouch for model info being correct or the images all being Gen, alhtough, I did try to find Gen references.

From what I can find it looks like I am after a 236 or a 250 with SS strap, with A7753 movement.

I have contacted one of the TD's I've used before, but they won't be able to get one for a while.

the asian 7753 movement is fine, just make sure that you don't change the date (advance on the date pusher button) between 10 pm to 2 am, you will screw up the date mechanism.
