here's another example

I mean... anyone else hate that these are all so similar? One has sapphire. Should I go for the sapphire one, or is plexiglass... ?

Can't help you with this particular model, but I've found it helpful that pure time lists the date they added the watch to the site. I usually check that with ALE's reference guide before buying to make sure I'm getting the right one.

The one linked from intime is a ZF, those linked frome puretime are, same order as displayed, SF, SF, ZF, not good, not good.
It's listed in the page title/watch description

The SF is very slightly better imho, but it seems it's out of stock atm.
There are a few thread about it, including my review :)

My California I skimped and got the plexiglass. I should have paid a little bit extra to get the sapphire. The plexi doesnt scratch easily but if you bump it on accident pretty good like Ive done once I see a slight scratch. I just have to be more careful now.

i dont knw if you can see the scratch in the pic. its not noticable in person, but to me i see it....

Where did you see a sapphire option for the SF?

I have a seller in HK that I buy from. Found him on the internet before I found the forums here and all the rep dealers. He gave me the option and I should have done the sapphire. Ohh well. Sure I can order it and figure out how to install it.

Dear fire007, thank you for your education and for your no-information. Ale's guide talk about Toro SF version and clone 2 movement. Now Toro have de 448 with clone 3 movement, but I don't really know if it is SF or ZF.

Could you, or anybody help?

B.R.

I should study the guides as I have no idea what version mine is. I bought based on HQ photos.
