I'm relatively new to the whole rep watch game, and do not have the technical skill for modding so I was wondering what do people thing the best entry level, <$200, Pam out of the box. So far as reliability and obviously accuracy?
I think you may need to raise the budget a bit, but a noob PAM 111v3 or v4 is very good out of the box.
Still a bit new to this - when you use a TD how do you see who the maker is?
I'll second that sentiment of the 111 being the best Pam out of the box.
Am I a total noob for asking what the difference is?

Where you get that strap man? Beautiful!
It's from Sealeather. Just show them my pic and they can make one for you. Great quality, great price.
Oh no. I dint know what I've got myself into. I've been thinking about a pam for a long time and even tried on my friends. It's quite different than the rolex and omega I'm used to. I love the look but I dint know if I'll love wearing one. I'm thinking about a 44 luminor. I'm now reading Ale's guide and finding out just how many models there are!

I know I could just get a 005 or a 111, or do I want base dial 000 or 112. But then these ones seems to be so common so maybe I want one that's a little different, but then will it be rep'd well. This hobby!

I looked it up right after you posted. I like it, but I don't think I'd wear one. You love your big and funky watches. Proplof, this 243, your dssdmy 243
