Unpacked my PAM 960 a few minutes ago. Seems to work fine, rotor is a little noisy as to be expected. I'll probably get it serviced. No gen to compare to, but I love the way this looks. Nice build quality overall, date is ever so slightly misaligned, but not really noticable in real life. The watch is heavier than it looks, strap is a little short, but I'll replace it anyway with an aftermarket model. White engraving on the bottom looks a little El Cheapo, but who cares about the back of a rep anyway...

YellowFin Oh, what about the engraving? Is it the way light falls, or is it rubbed to the metal?
Is the crown protection lever loose?

The lever snaps in and sits in place firmly enugh. Once it's opened, it can be wiggled a liiiittle up and down without feeling scary. I looked at the engraving a little closer and it seems that it's not intentionally painted white. Should be residuals from some dust before end of pruduction or whatever. I'll rinse it in the next days and try to do a macro shot of the engraving afterwards.

Update: the white residuals in the engraving of the back could be removed with water and a brush. Did a quick clean, some spots left in the "TITANIUM" letters...
