PAM 688 movement missing FOUR gears

A few weeks back I posted in this forum about an issue I had with my Pam 688 and the cloned movement not working.

I have since had the watch looked at by 2 different local watchsmiths, one saying that there was a bad gear beneath the isolate weight, and now just had another look at it and tell me that there are multiple gears completely missing from the watch.

I have browsed the TD's sites and believe the makers of this model are VSF, and if so it's the V2 S model.

My question is this, do most Panerai reps face this problem? Missing gears or crucial components from themovements?

I dont think my TD tampered with it, as we've been in business for 4 years now and have never had an issue with the clones he's provided to me.

In the mean time I am awaiting my supplier's response, with fingers crossed that there will be a smooth resolution to this issue.

Well that's rather unque, await the TD's response - I'm sure he will acknowledge the error if backed by 2 watchmakers

Yes, quite unique indeed. Lol. As I've said this is the first time in 4 years and numbers of clones I've got off him that I've had any issues, and of course it's my first Pam.... lol.

Sadly I did not take any photos, as the watch Smith had assembled it back together before bringing it back out to me. I explained to him that it was a replica watch with a Chinese clone movement, but he was unsure of what gears it would take to repair the movement.

The down side is that he didnt explain to well his evidence behind his claim. I've now been told 2 different things from 2 different watchsmiths, which has me curious who is right and who is wrong...
