PAM 683 reflection on the inside of the crystal.

Good morning all .
I noticed a reflection and distortion coming from the internal face of the crystal on pam 683, which is really annoying, you sometimes have the impression of having a bad magnifying glass in front of your eyes.
I think this is due to the large, poor quality glass.
the effect is felt when you tilt the watch, the text and indexes also change shape.
What do you think?

Had the same thing on my 111. Annoying indeed. WSO might have a better one? Or Prof .

for information, the diameter is 31.5mm, thickness in the center: 2.45mm and on the hedge 1.70mm
these are the dimensions from VSF, I just measured.

Talk to etashazam , he will solve this problem for you.

There's no correct crystal straight from the facs.... not yet.

I swapped out the crystal on the 1616. I wanted to try it out first to see how it looks but I think it looks pretty great. Took a little getting used to because it's more reflective but it also gives the dial a sharper visual. It looks and reflects light more like sapphire crystal than plexi.

I think I'll do the 799 next.

The glass is also more curved than the original one.
I am disappointed with the result.


For now I think I'll keep the original crystal

I don't see your pics either but I'm using tapa so don't know if that's ityes, the crystal I have (not sure if it's the same) does have more reflection. That is what I meant when I said it's more like a sapphire crystal than plexi. But it just takes a little getting used to. Again, I don't think it's bad. Just different and many many many many many many many people don't like change.

When I swapped it out, I had the same result and reaction to it, thinking "I don't like this at all" but now 4 days later I like it a lot. The slight reflection is worth the absence of the fisheye and also, it gives a much clearer, sharper view of the dial. I feel like I was telling time with an old projection screen TV versus now looking in HD.
