Pam 682 re-release?

Hi all,
I am a happy possessor of PAM 682 I bought m2m, my father saw me wearing the watch and made me lots of compliments. So I told him if I find another one I will get it for him. Today I was looking at the pam 1055 as it has same case and specs of the 682 but with the green dial. I was making some comperisons when I found this

That is the gen pam 682 being sold on Panerai official website,. I can only find it in the google shopping section, I can't find by just sourcing on the website. The link above says the watch has a closed caseback and the video below the specs shows the pam 683. So I am wondering is it possible that the pam682 is being re released or that's just an error or old link that remaind active?

Sorry if this is not rep related but I thought that if pam 682 is being re released maybe factories will produce a new version.

I highly doubt it’s available but it’s always good to check with TD.

The GEN PAM682 was re-released with a closed caseback. The video you mentioned only shows the PAM683 as a representative of the PAM Submersible collection, the reference number does not come appear in the video. As for the rep, only the first generation display caseback was released. You may inquire with the TDs for availability.

I didn't know the gen PAM 682 was re-released with the closed caseback that's why I was wondering.
Unfortunately it's not available at TD's at the moment, hopefully it will be produced again but with new releases and more appreciated classic Panerai models i don't think it will happen

The 42mm case profile with 15mm thickness sounds like a sweet combination. How does it wear OP? I never looked at Pam Subs since they were too big and thick for my liking at 47mm wide, but the new small case looks kinda attractive.

I think case proportions are really balanced and it wears really good on a small-medium wrist. It's probably a little thicker (1-2 mm) than other brands' 42mm divers but has a nice presence. Here are some pics, my wrisy is about 17cm so 6,7 inches circa

Regarding the movement, in all honesty, I didn't do much research I got the watch offered and bought it All I can say it runs smooth, rotor spins well and has a power reserve of around 40hours I believe.

Hopefully makers will get at it again. Else I was considering buying a PAM683 and a 1055, switch things aroung - Making it close enough

I would also buy the 682 instantly when it's available again. The 683 is nice, but I prefer the metal bezel. And while the 1055 is nice, the green isn't my cup of tea. Green is one of my favourite colors, but not that green.

That's for sure something interesting, you'd basically get a 682 with a little more blue tint on the dial, and then a 1055 with green dial that might turn out to be something cool! Definitely something to think about

Totally agree, I think the ceramic bezel on the 683 makes it too black, while 1055 looks good but less versatile also in the choice of straps

That would also be great of course, looks even better. As they already make the PAM1055 I think it wouldn't be much work for them to make it. I guess it's just a question of time - I will keep the cash ready
