PAM 616 Carbo - Case Lug broken - questions about alternatives

Hi all,

I have a question regarding a submersible case.
Unfortunatly one of the lugs on my PAM 616 from ZF is brocken.
I know that is not a new issue - there are some People in RWI with similar problems.

Is there any solid black case (steel with DLC or Ceramic) would fit as a replacement?
If yes - what about the chances to get a single case from a TD?

If you have any idea how to fix the problem it would be nice to read something.
Unfortunatly I spend 100€ for new AR and Service and 250€ for a MADDOG-Strap and buckle Fitting perfect to the carbon watch so I really want to Keep the watch.
Thanks in advance for your support.

Greetings Jan

I believe only case in dlc/ceramic would be from 508 and should be easily available from TD's. I had the same issue with my first 616, luckily this one is all good. Good luck!

That Sound not too bad. The question will be if there is a Problem throught the layer building case how Long will it take before it happens again...??
But anyway good to know that the TDs also sell cases only.

UV hardening adhesives only work if the UV light can get to the area surfaces being glued together, one of the pieces needs to let through light.

I've tried UV glue Gorilla blue works best except if you put top much might get the case dirty.

Unfortunatly I don't have the second part anymore.
That's why I was asking for alternative cases...

Ok, in that case the UV hardening stuff might be back in the game to recreate the lug, then painting? But I dunno if this would be up for your standards tbh ;)

Super glue worked for mine, held for months until I sold it. The excess glue was softened by nail polish remover and scraped off with a plastic knife, didn't harm the case.

Does anyone know if this problem with broken lugs is related to ZF produced models only, or to any version produced?

Happened to my V6F, so it seems to be an issue with all of them
