PAM 605 ZF/PAM617 V6F quesions!

Hi guys,

I have a PAM127 on order, but the 1st set of QC photos I've rejected due to crystal distortion towards the edges.
If the next set of photos are also bad, I might change watch to a PAM605 or PAM617.

To all those that have a PAM605 ZF....is the lever on your Crown guard flush when closed?
I'm consistently seeing photos that have the crown guard lever slightly sticking out or recessed to much when closed.

For those with a PAM617, are you happy with it?

I visit this forum to exchange views and gain more knowledge but I'm seeing less and less of that.

127 is supposed to have crystal distortion....

I've had 2 NOOB 127's over the years and the crystals on those did not have the same visual effect.

When you look head on to the watch on the QC pics, the crystal made the numbers appear twice around the outer edge.
Without posting photos it's hard to describe, but it was not normal distortion you would see on a 127 crystal.

Unfortunate but we can't do anything about it. Most especially when you have a lot to share. Anyway, pure b wasn't being mean or anything of the sort. You weren't clear either in stating that you already know about the expected distortion on the PAM127 (or any model that has the domed crystal) hence the reply. In fact, that would have been my comment as well.

I think posting QC photos just for the sake of it is frowned upon, but to post them in the course of a discussion, it would make a situation such as this easier to understand.
