Hello guys, since I got my watch thanks to all of you with the tons of infos you guys put here, I feel is my duty to contribute in my little part.
So here we have the PAM 565Q. L.E Les Ambassadeur. The gen is a limited edition of just 50 piece.
In few words is a 359 with brushed case and Asso strap. I decide to go for it because I really like the different and more vintage dial and the way they cut the numbers...but being already a massive watch and with the military/vintage style that it inspire me...that polished case was just a punch in the eye. So making my researches, thinking to go for a 359 and have it brushed my self, personalize, I discover that Panerai actually had my same idea few years earlier...and there it go the 565. It s a limited edition made to celebrate the longstanding relationship between Panerai and the boutique Les Ambassadeur Geneva-Zurich. I trace a gen on the web(couldn't believe), but 5k is still 5k, and this are not the right times.
At the end, spending nights studying here about the how the where and who, I made my move with a TD, and after 10days knock knock at the door, delivery for you Mr.

The package was just as I would have made it, able to go trough a rugby match without the watch to feel a scratch, and the watch...well since I got it I just can't get it off my arm; only thing I m doing is changing the straps every here and there (upon preparation during the waiting and a 441 I already own some straps was already happily waiting at home) :p

I just love it, and Panerai did an amazing job in shaping the 1950 case, and V6 factory is so close to gen, just I notice the crown guard can be unlock very easy, not much of resistance

it fit a Asian 7750 Automatic Movement mod P9000 Plate, 28800vph, quite reliable, but I notice that the rotor sometimes start spinning like crazy making around 30/40 spin...it's funny cause when it happen, in some arm position, it feel like a wrist massage :D what bother me is that is a bit noisy too when it happen. I read that the 7750 is know to be noisy, still....wasn't expected.
I open the case today and try to screw the rotor, give it a try you never know.

What else.....the lume is quite strong, catching also the indoor lamp light, so that make me very happy (I have this problem with the 441 but I m well aware is not one of best copies)

At the end...so far so happy with this watch, after wearing a Rolex for a everyday watch for more than 10 years, I felt it was time to switch into something bigger, and Panerai with all it's details, story, and characteristic, fit perfectly my dream, and the 565 fill it 100%

I experienced the same behaviour on a couple of my watches. This has no impact on functionality or time keeping, but I heard a proper oiling of the rotor bearing helps reduce the issue.

Congrats on your new purchase, it's a nice watch :)
