Hi guys

I have seen the new PAM 531Q VSF v2 in puretime,

https://puretime03.com/pam531-q-vsf...p-9003-super-clone-v2-free-leather-strap.html

and I really like the watch itself since they released the V1 with the superclone movement inside but now I am reading that this V2 has a 12 hours GMT and if this is true they would have made an incorrect updating to the GMT function as the gen one it a 24 GMT (the dial itself already 24h GMT markers so t has no sense having a GMT hand working with 12 hours...).

Do you think they have done this mistake or better going / try to find this one but the V1? I prefer to have correct GMT hand rather than having independent hour adjustments with an incorrect GMT function...

Can't really say definitively without seeing the actual watch. But basing on what's posted on the TDs websites, it does seem like the factories made an error in the PAM531 V2 by using the V2 P.9001. They should have just used the V1 of the P.9001 which corrects the location of the balance wheel but does not change the GMT to 12 hours which would be fine for this model.

I think exactly the same if that is true... I can not believe how can they make such silly mistake :picard:

I also observed today the new listing for Panerai.

In the same day it has been released PAM320 V2, with GMT based on 12hr like gen

I hope it is only a typo / error on PAM 531. There is no reason to have a 12hr GMT on this model

There is no reason to have it but if the movement used is indeed the V2 P.9001 with some modification to look like a P.9003 then it is a 12-hour GMT unfortunately. The only way to change that impression is if someone has the actual watch and sees if it is a 24-hour GMT which I highly doubt.

I’ve been looking at this watch for a while thinking about picking it up. I might just order it and be the guinea pig

Does it have the gen P.9000 movement function?

It has that Asian P.9000 lookalike movement but behaves exactly the way 7750 gmt does.

stupid, quick and shaky movie but it is a proof:

So that means it's not a V2 P.9001 movement decorated to look like a P,9003 but a P.9000 movement decorated to look like a P.9003. Thanks for the confirmation.

Well I'd rather have the correct GMT function than the gen function of the P.9000 honestly (losing the date change function drives me nuts :lmao: )

Well on the plus side, at least the independent hour hand adjustment makes the time pass by faster (pun intended).
