PAM 512 hand swap options?

I’m really digging my 512 rep, but the slight mismatch between the color of the lume on the hands and dial is starting to bug me. Would something like these fit? I don’t really mind that they’re black instead of polished.

or would someone experienced wirth reluming be able to darken the hands on the watch now?

A relume would be a good, but more expensive bet, and there's no guarantee that the lume matching will be exactly perfect. I'm not so sure about the hands you linked, there's no guarantee that the lume on these will match either, and black hands on black dial sorta ruin the whole functional vibe imo.

Also, does anyone know what movement the 512 has, so I can look for instructions on releasing the stem? Dealer sites just say “999 clone”

I wish my 512 still worked....died a while back and all of the TDs tell me the factories are no longer making them...

Did you try toro? I ask because someone over on RG is selling a 512 he bought from him. Then again it might be old stock so the movement might not be available from the factory. Did you bring it to a rep-friendly watchmaker to have a look?

I did. I think it must have been old stock. I decided to pick up a PAM 574 instead. Pretty close in look and readily available parts.
