Hi guys,

First of all I would like to introduce me as a pure noob regarding Pam, I found my mate Jamztio wearing a 364, I immediately found in love...

I had a look today on the forum regarding 2 pieces that I really like as well. The 382 and 508.

A- I wanted to ask your fine Pam connoisseurs if there is any words that makers will be producing a 508 with a real ceramic case.

B- Also what is the current consensus on the 382, wait for the v2 or get the KW one ?

Again I have spent some time in the forum today, bought the 364, bought a strap with peter gunny. But I was unable to find definite answers to A and B.

Would you guys kindly give me your insights. Much appreciated.

Regards,

Fire

Hi Fire,

Don't go with this ZFactory PAM508. It has many obvious flaws, and the texture of the case, as it's "coating", has not the same textured finish. I really love this PAM508 too. As this watch is not on demand, there won't be any "real" ceramic version...
KW "V2" is out. It the same watch as last batches from KW V1 (greenish pearl fixed, better bezel finish, and so...) but the movement looks like the last ZF. I was told by a TD this morning.

Hope this helps,

Evora

Many thanks Evora, does the movement on the 382 robust enough ? I read they attempted an aesthetic mod that could have deteriorate movement reliability , am I correct ?

Yes, as well as PAM508/382/389/305 from ZF... I was looking for these watches, but it seems that these mods affect the movement reliability, even if many ppl have these movements without any trouble...

When I asked about these watches to "my" TD, he replied me that I could have some troubles with these...

hmmm... I am more versed in the Ap world and we do have serious issues there... however some modders did develop expertise in fixing them. usually a good service on a modified a7750 from a trusted guy and you good to go.

I am under the impression that KW uses a7750 if the bridge is the only mod to the movement that could be an easy fix for a good watchsmith, but again I am no specialist but I reckon this is just a rep albeit a bit expensive but if we like it we should get it...

I am looking at this Kuvarsit v2 now... Any words Zf coming with a new one soon ?

cheers
