Pam 504/505

Hi Everyone,
Been a while since I purchased a rep, and recently fell in love with the 505 . I've been doing some research, but am having trouble finding a definitive answer. First off, now that I have been on this site for years, I figured its about time to ask...how do you guys search threads for pam models? I always get an error when I only search 3 characters and adding "pam" to the query limits my results. Any advice would be great .

Onto the 504/505. I've read great reviews about the KW version of these watches, however, have seen people mention that there is a second version of the 505 made with titanium instead of SS. I have not been able to find any comparative reviews between the two versions. I'll probably stick with the KW version, but if anyone can point me in the right, direction, it would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Anyway I can say that KW PAM 505 is awesome, of course weight is about 129 -130 gr and Ti DLC about 109-110 gr. with straps. Anyway both are far form gen composite regarding weight

Hi All. Ordered two 505s for myself and a friend. The China post decided to give it a quick 3 week detour to france, but they finally got here yesterday.


Upon opening the watches, I noticed that the two slightly varied from eachother. First off the strap color was different (one lighter than the other), but I assumed that this is expected with leather. Then I noticed that the coating seemed a little bit darker on one, the case had a slightly different shape, the engraving was deeper on one, and one weighed about 5 grams more than the other (about 134). I'm assuming that I got a KW V1 and V2 but was wondering how I can tell the difference? If I should keep one, which one should it be?

Over the years I've had about 12 different PAMs, and have really enjoyed almost all of them. I think the collection is at about 10 now. My KV 505 is my favourite, and I have a Gunny rep Asso strap being made for it because the rep Asso it came with isn't brilliant. The quality of the movement isn't brilliant either, and there's a sort of grinding feeling when I wind the crown. It is, however, the most beautiful of all my PAMs. Would I recommend one? Absolutely--bearing in mind that it is a rep. , not the genuine watch!

looks like a rep 7750 on both watches, which would speak against the KW v1! - maybe the lighter one is not a kw at all? Where did you get it from?

Both are KW V2 and I don't see differences from the pics (except depth of engravings on caseback)

Hi All,

received my PAM505 KW V2 on saturday from one of the TDs - everything is great except one screw which is loose on the rotating wheel of the movement

Is this screw glued or screwed? I am afraid it might come off completely soon and then end up somewhere in the movement.

I have to say i am a bit disappointed - especially everything else on the watch is top notch!

PAM505, PAM504 , As I know had upgrade 4 times , I think your KW is PAM505 V1.

These screws are faux. It means they are just glued on. I had this issue on every one of my "P9000"-clones!

does this screw have any function? could i take the watch to some watchmaker to open it, take the screw off and propperly glue it back on?

Hi guys, i can confirm that there are 2 different V2s in the wild in China. Each from diff factory. I do not have details i am sorry.

Better you remove all of them for reglueing. <- That's what I did...

Yes, I know it. My PAM 505 KW is a V1
I will bear in mind for the comparison review. Of course movement and caseback are different in V2

Yep, my friends who saw the two in person were sure they were a little different. The finish is also very off between the two. Very odd. My friend already smashed his case back, so I guess who cares . Any recommendations on of I can find a new caseback for the 505?

The movement is kinda noisy, i can always hear it squeak when i move my wrist around... *hate
