Seriously, though, these are cheapo reps. They are basically a rep of the MBK reps, and nothing is as good. 21j instead of a7750, the crystals are supposedly nothing like the MBK, case isn't as good, etc. This is basically me regurgitating everything I've learned about the 048 reps, I haven't held one in my hands though my MBK is on its way to me as we speak.

I have one of these 21J 048's for my girlfriend.

Unfortunately the QR system arrived jammed and I bought it from T4D (He is no longer with us unfortunately). I dont have the time/patience to mess with it so Im sending it off to have it done for me.

Other than that, it looks really nice for what I paid ($110 I think), and the crystal is actually really damn good. Date mag is a tad weak but not too bad. The date wheel is a typical rep one as well as the lume (though im not sure the MBK/W version is too far ahead in this regard). Strap is horrid plastic but thats to be expected @ around 100 bucks (custom is the way to go anyway)

If you know you want a keeper, it is worth getting one from Narikaa. If you want to try it out, get the 21J version and upgrade - should be fairly easy to unload.

Aside from the date wheel, is there anymore obvious modding that needs to be done? You say the crystal looks pretty good?Will also change the strap over once I receive it.
