Hiya, I bought this here m2m back in May. It arrived dead. The seller agreed to just buy another 448 and switch out the Gen 448 dial into a new case. He did that and I received a couple weeks ago. On the first day, the dial shifted. (see below). I sent it out to Katt to fix and he sent the following email after breaking the stem:
"Who ever did this watch didn't do the best job. The top bezel was barely even tight and came off with my fingers practically. The dial was not properly adhered to the movement. I could fix that but the stem broke in half, normally that comes out when you take apart the keyless, which I attempted but in this case the stem would not come out at all. Very unusual that the stem would be so stubborn. After doing the keyless on the bottom side, I could have tried from the top side to remove it. But my hands are tied because this is a modded movement with plates etc."
Any opinions? Would just having someone change out the movement be my most cost efficient approach? I'm in the US.... if anyone has a referral. Thanks in advance.
