Greetings!
I just ordered my first from a TD and received the QC pics. I'm ok with the dial numbers being a llittle thin like the 8, 11, and 2. I would like to know if the cap nut on the sub second hand is too shiny? I think it should be a little bit darker. Now that I'm typing this, I think I sound like I'm just nitpicking. Well, anyways, what do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Cap nut too shiny?

Is this WTF we have come to?

To me it appears it is slightly too polished. Perhaps they should of stopped on the polishing wheel 1.8 seconds earlier. The reflection of light from that SCREAMS fake bro. Reject that watch immediately bro. That is not 1:1 AAA++++ at all. The DLC coating seems .035 mm too thick to me as well. Ask for them to mic it. Anyone will call you out on that.

Jesus go buy the gen. This is ridiculous

Great 1st post

You're right. I'm sorry. Like I said, I caught myself as I was typing it. Thank you for the wake up call. I also know that these are high def pics too so the wrist view will be completely different. Sorry to bother you folks.

I would RL this immediately! There’s no way a self respecting baller would be caught dead with a cap nut that shines like that! You should let that TD know how disappointed you are in them for trying to push which an inferior product on you like that. If it’s going to be a rep, then by golly it better look as good as the gen for 1/10th of the price!

Tucker you are needed here badly.

Welcome to RWI. I see this is your first post. We’ve had quite a few of these posts lately. Yes, you are nitpicking. You are NEVER going to enjoy this hobby if you are really worried about a “cap nut” being “too shiny.” Just buy the watch. If the cap nut is too shiny for you sell it in the M2M section. Relax. Accept the watch and enjoy it for the$400 replica that it is.

So you ordered your first rep and yet did not read the rules. QC pictures are generally not allowed, unless you see a specific issue, AND THEN and only then should you think about posting it. But then again, a subdial hand cap? First off, you already know how it would appear at arm's length on your wrist compared to having the watch placed on your eyeball (which actually in terms of magnification isn't even high enough as when you zoom in to specific parts of the watch). Second, lighting conditions vary, from the one they have at the TD's premises to your location. That includes the angle the shot was taken. Given the perfect angle and the intensity of the light used, the cap might seem shiny in QC pictures but look perfectly fine in real life.

I did read the rules but apparently not enough. I posted the pics for a specific issue (that turns out not to be an issue ). I will keep in mind the tips that you have provided. I’m sorry if I broke the rules. Kindly delete if needed. Thank you.

Had a similar experience with a job interview recently. Was offered 2x my salary and better benefits...almost green lit the job until I saw this ultra shiny cap nut in the clock in the elevator lobby...just went
