Hello fellow mates,
I just recieved my first rep a PAM 441 VSF V2. I am pretty excited about the quality could not spot any fault.

I have a short question about the functionality: Is there a way to quick set the date?

There is none. That is a feature of the gen movement.

The new VSF clone movements change date via the quickset hour hand as per gen, the functions of the new clones are as per gen movement.

Yes you can do that, but it's hardly a quickset date change. It's like saying a watch has no hour quickset but if you move the minute hand 60 minutes, the hour hand will change. :)

I think you guys are right. I read the manual of the gen one and there is the date quickset also described via the hour quickset.

The gen manual states that you can use the hour quickset also im backwards direction. I heard you should not do this. Do you think it would hurt the P9001 clone?

It depends on where you "heard" it from. Personally, I have no experience with the gen movement so I cannot comment on it. However, I would not push my luck and presume that the rep movement is as robust as the gen one, whatever the dealer or the factory says.

Thank you all for the Kind help. I am btw planning to do a review on the watch here. I know that there are already some. But maybe my view as a noob may help others :)

Another person's perspective is always welcome. You might find something that others were not able to see.
