Pam 438: how to prevent the problem in the bracelet

Hello guys, reading the forum I noticed that Pam 438 is afflicted by this problem:

Is there a way to prevent it? For example, ask the seller (if he can) to stick it with super glue.

Another question: if the bracelet is too large, can i remove (easily) the links?

Bracelet sizing is a pain in the but but doable
You need a dedicated bracelet pin remover from ebay

A watchmaker worth his salt should have complete tools, including this pin remover. There is only one used for ceramic and stainless steel bracelets (brand is irrelevant).
