So I mistakenly ordered the KW edition of the 438 instead of the VSF. The placement of the balance wheel is not of major concern to me so that's ok. Overall, it's an excellent replica, but there are a few other things I wondered about in relation to VSF. Ale, if you could advise, I'd love to know what your thoughts are. 1)The glow in the dark is pretty weak. Maybe that's true of most or just the one that arrived. 2)I would say that the dial is pretty perfect except that the letters on the gen seem slightly more raised than on the rep. 3)It's pretty heavy. Hard to say for sure if it's heavier than the gen I tried on in store, because that wasn't fitted to my rist and therefore felt like less of a brick.
But I've seen that the VSF is supposed to contain a "slimmer" movement. Is that true? Does that mean it weighs less? And is the lettering on the dial a little closer to gen or is that the same? How about the ability to glow in the dark?
