Pam 438 but which factory?

Hello friends,
I wanted to buy a 438, they are available from these factories Noob, ZF, V6F and VSF. But which builds the best?

I've found something about the VSF V1 and V2 but nothing about the other factories. I looked at the TDs of rwi and rwg.

I ask because there is no Noob nor ZF version of the PAM438 so whomever is telling you they have it is probably not aware of this fact.

When I google the factories with Pam 438, I find some posts from forums. So I thought there are the 438 from other factories.

No, there are only two factories that make the PAM438 (there was a third unknown factory but it was made of DLCed Titanium not ceramic), V6F and VSF (or XF), which actually means they were only made by one factory (V6F split itself into two factories and they became VSF and XF). So the latest ones would be from VSF (or XF that's what other TDs call them). V2 (or V3 just make sure the movement is completely black).

OK thanks for the information. Do you know if the power reserve works on the new versions?

There is a power reserve but the gauge on the movement is fake and merely decorative, even on the newest versions. .

ok that would have been great. Is it possible to know if there will be a new version soon?

We rarely know if something if coming out. If we do, it's usually very short notice. And for something that's as well built as the current version, the possibility of havnig an update is even more remote.
