PAM 422 O P.3000 [pics heavy]

Hi there!

I had it in my hands for two days (bought for my friend) and I thought I may post some pictures of this PAM442 as it's not very popular model on the forum. Probably because of it's obvious flaws like PANERAI not engraved ans short second hand.
But it's still a beautiful and solid piece. So for those who hesitate - here are some eyecandies.

The painted on PANERAI is unforgiveable. I actually love this model over the 372. But not engraving it was pure laziness.

I think the gen 422 has a sapphire crystal and the 372 is plexi...I could be wrong.
Nice watch and nice photos, I really wish they would update this one with a closer to gen dial.

Had a gen on my wrist last week , simpley stunning and it deffo has crystal not plexy !

As there isn't any factory being declared for either watch, I am inclined to say they are the same and they all have mineral crystal. A sapphire crystal with such a construction (as gen) would be a little pricey methinks.

I really don't understand why they fix the faux PR at 1/2!! All my watches with power reserve after 30 mins of wearing the PR is full, then takes a few hours off the wrist until it's noticeable NOT "full". If I was to ever have a faux Pr on a watch I'd make damn sure it just said 100% all the time.

This is the only "good" replica version of this watch

Was going to say the exact same thing about the engraving! Haha just laziness on the makers part. Pretty silly....

Does the painted font flaw look so obvious in person ?
Also, from what I read, gen pam 422 is much heavier than 372. Is it the same with rep 422 vs 372 weight ?
