HEy guys,

I have a question, I am a bit confused. I noticed on TD websites (chris/miffy) 2 versions of 417 NY KW($258) and V6f($218). I always thought KW=V6F, the only thing that comes to me is maybe one is older model case/dial, but it seems like the more expensive one has incorrect movement.KW for 258 has swan neck and incorrect standard 6497 bridges, where the cheaper one has no swan neck and Cortes de Geneve decor which I think is correct for this boutique model movement same as Hmaker on Klockis/ALE review.

Can someone please clarify, I just want the most accurate case/dial/movement 417, price is very atractive now. Not clear why 2 versions are listed. Angus has one labeled V6F and only one version which seems to have correct movement, should this be KW?

Thank you.

I think they ran out of the other movement that's why KW later batches have the incorrect movt. But again the watch has closed CB so really shouldn't bother you. I picked one up from a TD for $198 early this year and love it more than the 111. Go for it!

Nope, all have the same movement, only the old and the new price are (wrongly) listed.
The BEs don't have a swan neck.

I looked closer again, and one is with basic movement no swan neck, other is plated more polished with swan neck similar to noob's movement on recent 390s. I am just getting the basic one because it is more accurate to gen BE. I also noticed lug holes are a bit high on TD website as expected on KW cases hope they fixed it, but not to worried, btw ordering 372sf and 417kw.

On my Noob390 movement screws got loose after 4 months of winding, I kept it running all the time, so bridge, gear screws had to retighten, touch of silicon lube on crown, reseted spring tension now winds like new again, same PR about 50hrs. My cheap $20 watch tool kit came in handy for sure.
