Hey, so I kinda put this together for fun to compare how the two fares against each other. The $10 homage was a watch I bought around 2 years back, I wore it through my military training so it's pretty badly scratched in some places.

It has a quartz movement and I think it's actually steel on the outside, but I can't confirm but it does feel solid. The paint is chipped off in some places but it's $10 anyways.

Here are some pics of the homage

Now let's see it side by side with the PAM 411, I understand the homage is not a homage of the 411 but I just threw this together to see the difference in build quality between the two.

The lever is attached to the case by a latch mechanism, it just goes over a protruding ledge and latches onto it. Really flimsy obviously.

It actually has a domed crystal but I have no clue what it is made of, I'm guessing plastic since mineral crystal is too expensive at this price.

I actually got that watch for fun since it's a really cheap watch and it was a quartz. Will be stored in the corner of my collection!

This brand actually makes a ton of cheap homages ( actually they're pretty much direct rip offs of branded watches ), if you want to get a watch to beat to death over a wild night of partying and flex a homage watch, get these.

Thanks for reading if you actually got this far, was just trying to throw up a random comparison since I asked in chat box and @reccon65 was interested in this.

Curren and Infantry both do homages to the Pam. Skmei does an homage to the 1950 which I bought on a whim.

The Curren case I wire wheeled off the black coating and buffed it. It is just a basic alloy and I like the result. I took the sandwich dial out and refinished to an Air Force theme as I had old water slide decals. I used the Infantry movement in the final assembly.

If you are just after the general look, nothing wrong with these 10$ watches. But nothing with the fit and finish of even our beginner reps. Thanks for the comparison. :)
