My previous mini-review featured multiple pics of my PAM 411, but after doing some reading on lighting when taking photos and going through some mini photoshop lessons, I've gotten some new pictures which I feel are quite decent.

Here they are, enjoy!

Thanks for the compliment man!

It's a great piece, I'm planning to keep it for long term in my collection since I think I need a PAM.

Hey you actually have the same mentality as me when I picked up this piece from TRB. One of my favourite daily beaters at the moment.

I have one of these and it's quite nice actually, I enjoy it! I got it at the really low price too, no way to say "no" to that. Mine came with a faux croc and an asso, and I like the asso for its beat-up look out of the box and its texture most. Congrats!

I have to wonder: how close is this thing to the gen after all? I've not seen a gen personally.

Your pics look great!!!!

Email Toro asking for rep Panerai rubber strap. He sells em for 35 each.

Mine came with an Asso, putting it on a rubber makes it look more casual as it's a daily wear watch for me

From the review it seems to be pretty much the same to the eye.

Thanks man :) appreciate it!

The rep rubber strap has been compared to the gen one and it is really a good rep. Since third party rubber straps aren't that much better (and more expensive than the reps), I would suggest just ordering the watch with the rubber and/or the assolutamente straps (which is also a fantastic value). Other rep straps, you can easily replace with an inexpensive aftermarket one.

How does the rep compare in terms of comfort though? Is the gen much softer? I feel the rep rubber is kinda firm but it's definitely decent, wouldn't call it great though. But haven't felt the gen before.

Oh did not notice this post. Well there is a difference in how supple the gen Caoutchouc (or rubber in plain English  ) OEM strap is compared to the rep but for the price you pay, the rep rubber strap that comes with our reps certainly is a very good copy. But like you said, if you haven't worn the gen rubber before, you won't be missing much. :)

Thats great !
Think I will also get a Noob 111 as well.
I have a $120 homeage 111
Its got a bracelet
The dials got luminor marina but no panerai
on dial
everytime I wear it out people are just blown away by it
One guy offered me $4000 cash for it
But I told him it was a homeage
I couldnt sell it just
Couldnt do it.
He didnt beleive me he thought I was making it up to not sell it to him
So it will be amazing to finally get a few more real Pan Reps.
