pam 390H crystal hazy?

just wondering, do u feel ur 390h crystal alittle bit hazy? crystal on my 111n v3 is alot better compare to it,
i wish to have another 390 in my hand to compare it.

is there anybody mod AR on 390 , id like to hear how is the result after AR
and who doing such service and e cost thanks

depending on where u'r located. there're many who do AR mods for pam crystals.

also, locally, we did a comparison between the 390 & 005k v1 & the crystal is slightly hazier, murky, cloudy, etc. if it really bothers u, u could send it off for a AR job.

but, not worth the money, imo. i'd use the money on another mod job for another watch or just buying a new watch

Even on the gen comparos I've seen, the 390's crystal looks hazy. Maybe it's due to the brown dial as compared to the black dial of the 005.

Actually the best crystal is the last Noob imho. I compared it and various H-maker crystals. Noob is the winner. The cut edges and AR transparency are undoubtedly of a higher level.

I know have a noob 111 v3 crystal over my 390 dial and it looks the same as it did before clarity wise

Possible you could have gotten one with a bad crystal but I suspect it is just the textured brown sausage dial that is making it look more cloudy than the matte sandwich dial of your.111

I think most pam crystals of the gen are not 'invisible' looking like a lot of other gens. It's the same with the reps.

Gens Pam for most are known to have a bit Yellowish AR.
I've seen rep with better looking crystal, depend what we want.

You should compare two watches with the same dial but with different glasses. Front the difference is small, all two with high transparency. With oblique light, the difference is obvious. Noob reflects very little.

I didn't inspect for long so not disagreeing with the reflection issue but an big on crystal clarity and between the 2 there is no way that one would be described as cloudy/hazy and the other clear.
They are extremely, extremely close in clarity
Panerai only uses single sided inside ar so there crystals are never going to appear as clear as a brand that uses double sided ar
I think the new batches from noob or h are close enough to the gen to not worry about the crystal anymore
