PAM 390 Strap help required please

Guys

Just a quick question.

I have a 390 on its way from another member on here.

My query is, did the 390 come on Asso strap straight from our dealers? Did it also come on other leather strap styles?

I have asked the member I bought it from but he is unsure.

Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it came standard with Asso strap, but it might have been an option to upgrade with the selling dealer. I think most came with this strap as standard

And if it is this strap you will not be disappointed

Superb looking watch and photos btw.The leather strap on yours definitely looks substantial.

Am I right in thinking the gen came on Asso, with an additional rubber strap included?

Ps - how are you finding the Iphone 5?

The starp included in rep 390 is one of the best rep straps.
The gen comes with a very similar strap, non Asso strap

Black rubber will not match the Brown dial IMO !!

I'm with Ale on this brown dial and gold hands with black rubber strap don't go, I've tried the combination not my cup of tea

I don't know if some gens come with Asso.
The gens I have seen in PAM AD were with a strap like the rep one (but with a little more quality of course).

I liked the hammered vachetta strap offered on the 390's, however, it seems like the quality has gone down hill recently on this model. I asked Angus if he can still source the higher quality strap and he replied that he would look into it.

Imho the strap really makes the 390, I prefer to switch out from time to time with this Simona. Its very soft and comfortable and suits the watch very well with its brown color and matching stitch.

Thanks evo. I have had a look at your 390 from your earlier posts and must admit your brown strap is perfectly colour matched to the 390.

I guess I have to wait to see the dial colour in the flesh before deciding on my personal preference.

Gen came on the asso strap
Rep at least used to come on the rep ferretti strap, which is a fantastic quality strap for rep leather but really is not a match for the 390
Stitching is white so does not go well with the dial

Dark brown even tan straps go well
Black rubber definitely a poor choice

eV strap choice above is awesome but very expensive and I have seen from Simona more than 1 variation on this strap some of which are not as well suited for the 390
It is a risky $250-$300 purchase on the Michelangelo without knowing for sure

I agree its usually a strap selling for over $250, however, I decided to get the strap only (no bronzo buckle) which saved over $80.

I have seen the other MA strap you are speaking of, although im really not a fan of the texture on that one. This particular leather is very soft and by far the most comfortable strap I own.

I saw the price drops a ton without the bronze buckle didn't realize that previously.

I have them custom making me a museum exhibit tobacco with custom stitch color right now for what I hope will be my 390 go to strap, though I do worry a little it will be too thick a strap for the 390 so may end up wearing it on a sub if my plan fails

I just asked them to buy the strap no buckle and simona was able to process the request no problem. I actually order many straps from them with no buckle, helps to many spare buckles laying around.

And it's really not too thick, for the 390 I think anything under 3.8mm looks a bit small. This ones right at 4mm and wears perfect, by far one of the best straps I own even compared to my paci and David lane straps.

I own a few by them as well, definitely top quality
Have a David Lane on order right now too
By too thick I meant the simona strap I ordered which is different and I believe thicker
