Pam 390 screws

Hi all.

I just wanted to change the strap of my Pam 390 and the screws don't let themself be fully unscrewed. No matter how hard I try to turn it , it wont budge. I am using an original Panerai screwdriver.

I also have a pam 111 noob and 386. The screws turn like butter and smoothly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a brand new Noob 390 with a defective screw tip as seen here


First, I thought in replacing the screw with a spare one but then I realized the lug thread is actually stripped. I was contacted by another member with a similar problem, as seen here

Sorry for the not to clear pics, but I just want to illustrate the problem. Did you contact your TD?

Had this similar problem as well ..solution for me , i went to get spring bars ...

I tried the bars but didn't like the look so I contacted my TD, send him pics and they are sending me a brand new Noob case....

I'm having similar problems with my Noob 390. Just don't get the screw out, I was really surprised. I'll be having a watch maker look at it. Thanks very much for your piece of advise ALE, much welcome.

hi all.

Thanks to ryan from intime and a very simple solution. I used a tiny bit of WD-40 in the screw hole. ( be very careful not to get any on the strap as it will stain. ) after doing this 2 times, it worked like a charm.
