Guys, question:
I recently got my first watch pam390 which has been amazing so far, superb accurate. I cant test 100% accuracy, because it has no second hand but I used Wild Sectra app and visually observed the minute hand under magnifying glass as it passed after about 24 hours thru the dial. I think it is somewhere between 1-3 seconds a day off, possibly 4 sec. max. Wild Spectra says +1 sec, but I don't think this app is very reliable. The accuracy printout I got from dealer was +1/day. Now back to the question...
Should I still visit watchmaker who will service clean, lube the movement , lets say 1 month from purchase to assure accuracy long term, or do nothing and once I observe that it is running too slow/fast then worry about it ? Sorry it may sound childish, but I did not have a mechanical watch for 20 years, and some of you have been in this game for years dealing with different movements.
Thanks.
