Some weeks ago, I decided to buy my first PAM. as I didn´t know exactly how they would really fit on my 7“ wrist, and I wanted to check different dial models and material cases, decided to go for a 390, 177 and 292. Later on I could take the decision which one to keep. One of the key conditions were that they must be considered as Super Rep by ALE´s guide, and of course that I liked him. After lot of reading, I placed the orders and all three came in the last two weeks.
I find all three watches absolutely gorgeus, but I would like to stick on my first idea of just keeping one ore two of them. However now I am still doubting which one/s should I let go. Dunno if keeping all three, and as usual with this hobby, be completely out if the first budget.
Besides that all of them are really nice, I just wonder how many wrist time they will have, or they would deserve. From all three I need a bit to get used to them, but the 390 will take more time as I still see it too flashy on my wrist.
The 292 has an amazing case and it is very comfortable. My concern is again to get used to the size and also if using it as a casual watch (may be with with another strap) or as a daily watch with my daily suits. As a formal watch I see it, at the present day too big. As casual, very good. But you know it changes form one day to another, at least in my case.. the only thing I do not change is my wife...
The 177 is the only one that surely will stay at home. It has that nice Panerai wrist presence and is not so flashy. Also Titanium case seems to be smaller, dunno why. Even it can be that the 177 helps me to get used to wear the 390 and 292.
Having a look at the pictures, what would be your choice if you would have to choose one or two of this three PAMs? Which would be your preferred order if you would have my wrist size?
